Live Chicago Blues started as a feature on the weekly Drive-Time blues radio program TCBX The Chicago Blues Explosion in 1997. Each week Cornbread and Big D would go out and record a blues show and then broadcast a few tracks that week on the radio program. Eventually the feature grew into it's own website and LiveChicagoBlues.com was launched in 2000. Today that website is evolving into a community of Blues Fans who love and appreciate what we consider to be the greatest blues scene in the world - Chicago, IL. The Clubs, the Blues Fans, and most importantly the Blues Musicians out there each and every night playing the music they love. Over the years we have been fortunate enough to see thousands of shows, this is our chance to share some of them with you.
